Is there a curing process for harvested seeds?

After you have harvested a pollinated female for seeds, is there some sort of curing time needed before you can germinate? New to the seed thing just curious if there was a method for getting your seeds to react appropriately. Any info is appreciated thanks!

Nice looking Seed. Put a piece of paper towel at the bottom of the bowl and let them dry for at least a month. Then store them in a mason jar but make sure you check on them to make sure they are are dry. I lost some once after I stored them thinking they were nice and dried just to find a moldy mess when I went to use them.

So your saying drying them is going to help, ok. I don't see the harm in that. I tried to germinate some a few days after harvest, it took like a week before I saw some tails comin out (not a huge success) I picked some good looking ones too. This led me to believe they maybe weren't ready to be germinated yet... so maybe they need a little longer
