Because they're on sale. The 23w. bulbs are so bright when they heat up, you can't look at them, they'll burn out your retina. It's amazing what they're doing in the field of illumination..... So then over in the garden dept. they got Pro-Mix on sale, Four cubic ft. squashed down to two cubic feet. Canadian Peat..... Couple bags of that...... when i check thru, the girl says, "Are you growing pot?" What do you say to that? Is it that obvious? Heh Heh. " Just some tomatoes and african violets." That threw her off for sure.....
