Not sure where you live but here its impossible. Lady bugs eat knats, not plants.Knats be everywhere in everywhere. Homes biuldings schools work places day n night. Ganna be upgradin to praying mantisis just cuz they look cooler. Lady bugs n praying mantis's save the day

Lady bugs eat more than gnats. They eat aphids. All of em. These are the best thing to keep on hand for aphids and mites. Keep em in the fridge till you need them, use a vacuum hose to collect them. If they are in your grow room it's because there is a food source. Lady bugs+marijuana plants=happiness
I thought he was saying he had issue with lady bugs and ya they eat Knats.
Now as for Knats go to a store that sells Yellow Sticky Fly Traps some are just on a Stick others are in a triangle shape.. do not buy those sticky roll paper crap for flies.. buy the Yellow Sticky Stick kind... they can be planted into the medium Yellow is Knats Favorite Color.
Hydrguard os good to to put on top of the medium.
