I would also suggest Craigslist. I have sold some lights there and it is much easier to not have to deal with packaging and shipping.

looks sketchy and illegal under the new canadian laws. plus the guy is selling used equipment not buying online weed.

Used is used. You never know for sure how products were cared for and how long they were used. I have ballast's that are 3 years old that look the same as a brand new one.

Bulbs wear out so any lights should get new bulbs. Even when they look bright they do not have the same lumens as they started with. Better to save for new stuff.

Hydro stuff might be different. Just remember most people upgrade when stuff is wore out.
