Distilling a finished tincture

I want to know; if a finished tincture is distilled, does the THC remain in alcohol?
Does any have experience with this?
Any info would help please.

Equipment/supplies:
1 gal 80 proof GSC cannabis tincture
1 air still
Hydrometer
Carbon filters

Yes, the THC remains in the alcohol.

I was reading and was going to buy the t-check. It is a home THC tester. I was looking into it and researching buying it ($400) so lots of research and the reviews are saying it tests CBD as 15% thc it tested olive oil as 15%THC. Heads up I may be wrong just the reviews I read.

It maxes out at 15 mg…. There are ways around it, but math not so good when I’m high… info is out there though about the t check workaround
