White gel on roots

I noticed a white like substance on my roots this morning is this the beginning stages of root rot or caused by my nutes? I'm using dynagrow series

What is your water temperature? Are you letting any light at all into your circulating system? Are your air stones working properly? Those are very common causes of root problems.

If you suspect any type of root disease you should use Z7 or Hydroguard as directed. Either of those will take care of pretty well all root issues.
