Hydro flushing question

Hey peace to all the Bud brothers

Can anyone clear up when flushing in hydro (flood n drain) and its says to run your pump continuously and flush for six hours does that mean to leave the buckets flooded for 6 hours or run the system say every hour for 6 hours at 10 mins a flood ? or what, im a bit confused

Does flushing for 7 days using a flushing agent for 1 day sound about right?

I use flood and drain and I just use RO water with z7 and flood the table for 15 minutes 4 times a day for 6-7 days. In flood and drain when flushing you're just not feeding any nutrients to the plant, you just make them use up what they have stored in them.
