Does Trump Disagree With Christie On Marijuana?

Trenton - Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump said Friday he would not use federal laws to eliminate legalized marijuana in states like Colorado.

That puts him at odds with the stance peddled by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, considered to be Trump's possible pick for U.S. attorney general.

When Christie was running for the Republican presidential nomination last year, he vowed to enforce federal laws banning the sale of marijuana to crack down on states that have legalized pot.

"If you're getting high in Colorado today, enjoy it," Christie, a former federal prosecutor, said during a speech last July. "As of January 2017, I will enforce the federal laws."

The governor dropped out of the GOP presidential primary in February and has since become one of Trump's top advisers. And if Trump picks him as attorney general - the top law enforcement position in the country - Christie could have a say in dictating federal justice policy involving issues like the legality of marijuana.

So when Trump gave an interview Friday with KUSA, Denver's CBS television affiliate, reporter Brandon Rittiman mentioned that Christie was the "only presidential candidate who was campaigning saying he would use federal authority to shut down sales of recreational marijuana in states like Colorado."

"Yeah, I wouldn't do that, no," Trump said.

"You wouldn't let him do that," Rittiman asked.

"No," Trump said.

"Even if you picked him as A.G.?" Rittiman asked.

"Well, I don't know," Trump said. "You're asking me. I wouldn't do that, no."

Rittiman then asked the celebrity businessman and former Atlantic City casino tycoon if that means he believes Colorado "should be able to do what it's doing."

"Well, I think it's up to the states," Trump replied. "Yeah. I'm a states person. I think it should be up to the states, absolutely."

I'm not voting for Hillary, final answer. I'm not at all sure about trump and now that he has selected Pence and possibly choosing Christie, both hard nosed anti cannabis, it is very likely that all of our progress will be flushed down the toilet so I can't vote for trump either. The only one left is Johnson and the problem with him is he is third party who for that reason will unlikely to win. I'm getting really frustrated with the government robbing people's lively hoods by putting criminal convictions on them, even justifying themselves for killing them as well as animals, the prisons for profit system, the demand that toxic drugs be used for medical treatments instead of natural medicine, and blocking the use of cannabis for the many other industial uses all for the sake for the profit of greed which has lead us to the contamination of our planet. When is this bullshit crap going to stop?

It'll stop when each and every citizen in the country voices their concerns and wishes to their respective senators and representatives. Every week.
No vulgarity.
Just contact em'.
Everybody.
Continually.

Kinda like
"...And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day, I said
fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and
walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.

And that's what it is , the Alice's Restaurant Anti-Massacre Movement...
