The new full service Bronco Truck Stop on South Highway 81 features a drive through, showers as well as many products including cannabidol-infused gummy bears.
Cannabidol—or CBD—is a legal health, THC-free supplement that is derived from cannabis, David Buss, who distributes the products, said.
Buss is a Grady County Distributor and Consultant for cannabidol (CBD) products from a Norman-based company called Ambary Health. Buss has been selling the cannabidol products for about a year, through visits and out of his home.
The Bronco Truck Stop has a case full of cannabidol products including oil tinctures, a smokeable product called Jet Fuel, lip balm, body balm, hemp oil, massage oil, gel caps and bottled water. The water, Buss said, has an herbal flavor.
Cannabidol is touted by Ambary Health and Buss to solve a variety of health problems including arthritis, diabetes, alcoholism, chronic pain, schizophrenia, seizures, depression and others. Buss said he has seen miracles and claims the worst cases see the biggest effect.
Buss is enthusiastic about the products he sells. He often says that he would like to take a five gallon bucket of the stuff to every nursing home. The products, according to Buss, work gently over time.
However, Buss said he has been met with resistance from business owners when trying to sell his products in their stores.
Then, Buss met with Bassm Alzoubi, who opened the Bronco Truck Stop six months ago. Alzoubi is also the owner of Bronco's Corner, which is just a little further north on Highway 81.
Alzoubi said he has tried many of the products, including the balm which he said heals cuts fast. Alzoubi said he likes that the products are natural, and safer than the energy drinks that are sold in nearly every store.
Buss said he wants to clarify that the CBD products are not the same thing as K2 or any kind of synthetic marijuana product.
