On Thursday and Friday, November 16 and 17, a meeting is being held that could lead to more felony pot prosecutions. The Joint Judiciary Committee is meeting to discuss a number of bills. These include two that would add marijuana-laced foods and drinks to the criminal code.

Right now, Wyoming Law only targets marijuana in its traditional plant form.

The bills are called, "Possession of Marijuana Products," and "Possession of Non-Plant Form Marijuana."

If the amendments go forward into next year's state legislature and become law, being caught with marijuana candy or pot-laced drinks could land you in jail.
