St. Cloud police arrested a man Tuesday after finding 33 marijuana plants inside a southside home. Justin Clarence Scott, 20, was arrested after police searched 393 Second Ave. S at 7:03 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators had received information that marijuana was being sold from the home and that there were marijuana plants inside, police said. Aside from the plants, police also found 2.3 pounds of marijuana and more than $4,700 in cash. Two other people were inside the residence.
Scott was taken to Stearns County Jail and faces possible charges of fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance, fifth-degree possession of marijuana and cultivation of marijuana.
The St. Cloud Drug Unit conducted the investigation with the assistance of the St. Cloud Metro Gang Strike Force and the St. Cloud canine unit.
