Feel free to come with tips, advice and ask questions. :thumb:

  • Springwater: PH 8.39-9.30 OUCH!

Summary so far

Date: 11.29.2016
Got some tap water in a bucket. PH was showing after 6h a 8.46 reading so adjusted it down to 6.46 before soaking the JIFFY's and planting the seeds.
EC: 301 ppm
Exception: 1 seeds was planted in JIFFY soaked in the original PH 8.46 EC 301 ppm - Named "Pippi"

Date: 12.02
Bad environment control, temp range 18-28℃ (64-82℉) I am struggling to find the fan ratio/temperature.

Date: 12.03
Got the ratio on fan right now, I think? 21-24℃ (69-75℉) over 24hrs
3/5 Seeds break soil and stretch stretch! Is it the PH 8.46 "Pippi" one of them?

Unfortunately not! you see? she is alone on the left in the image. Bad quality I know, but it will get better! On the top right one, the forth seed is holding back.

Lowered light 400W to 40cm (15.7'') above plant.

Date: 12.04
Forth Seed broke light during the night,
Struggling with keeping seedlings moist. Moving them over to 5L pots and added 1/4 tsp Root-Juice to 3 Liter water. Used approx 70% of water
PH 7.61
PPM 331
Pippi was included in this watering mix.

Date: 12.06
GOOD NEWS EVERYBODY!.......Pippi is alive

Re: Milky Way - Grow In Soil Journal - 2016/2017

Hey Guys,

Yes this grow is alive and kick'in. I did not want to blast the thread with post so here is a update.

Here is the log entries since the last post.

On the 8th of December

17th of December

They are growing for sure.

20th of December

ISSUE: I noticed brown spot on the leafs. Tried to cut down on the water Schedule and it seemed to solve the issue. I also removed the bad leafs. It seems I am not letting the plants dry out before watering. Any thoughts on that?

24th of December

I re-potted Pippi and tied heir down :slide:, heir pot is higher than the others so I need to control the height, she is doing very good.:thumb:

Please all feedback and discussion is more than welcome as I have no idea how it will produce in the end.

So time for another watering. The buds are coming out nice I think at this moment.

Last watering was without nutrition's.

So today I am following the normal ratio's which seem to work.
Bio-Grow 1ml/L
Bio-Bloom 2ml/L

Adding also Top-Max 1ml/L from this watering and onward.

PH 6.03
EC 603ppm (1223 µS)

Another update 2+ months into grow. We have entered into the 6th week of flowering.

Im doing 2x watering a week now. One with and One without nutrients.

I am really in doubt about the fan set up. What is the best way for me to place the fans now in flowering?

Here is some pictures :smokin:

Re: Milky Way - Grow In Soil Journal - 2016 - Help needed -

Hi All, really need some assistance.

Sorry for late update. I am now in my Flushing week, Week 10 of flowering, week 14 total. Are we looking to be able to harvest yet you guys think?

I have looked in a microscope and some Crystals are blank, some are grey inside bubble and even some are brown on Pippi, so I just got more confused because i am noob. Hope you guys can give some help. Thank you.

Hey

Thanks for the feedback and charts:thumb:

I was looking through you grow log, Savingson. Great gig you got going. I just dig those DIY projects. Well done.

I had a flushing on Tuesday this week (Ph 6.23, No nuts) and was planning one today keeping same PH and was hoping that Sunday would be good for harvesting? Next chance would be next weekend. So I need to make a choice.

Okey, so I went for the harvest this Sunday and they have been on drying until now. It seems alright :high-five:

I will let you guys know when I start too cure them. In the meanwhile here is some pics of the pruned plant.
