UPDATE #1

Roots started growing out of the bottom of the small pots so I transplanted them to their final container, 3 gal smart pots.

Here is a time lapse of them from March 14 2017 to March 29 2017. Its my first time-lapse but I think it turned out well

update #2

Plants seem to have taken well to the transplant and the
nutrients. Really starting to take off.

Plant #2 struggled a bit starting out as a seedling. It got stuck in the seed shell and killed off one of the cotyledons which I guess explains the slower growth. Hopefully she will catch up the #1.

Plant #1 was topped on the 6th of April and so far seems to have recovered pretty well. I think im going wait for Plant #2 to catch up a bit before I top her

Watering hasn't been done very consistently which I will look to change when I get my
auto irrigation system setup. im still not sure on a few parts, and where to get the products I need.

I also feel like im going to have to get my scrog net setup before these girls get too tall haha.

P.S. If you're reading my journal feel free to drop a comment :D

Day 4 since they came through the soil. My first grow. Hid lights dimmed to 250 watts and nearly 4 feet high. I've been told to leave the lights on 24 hrs for another week. What you think will they make it?

Looks like they coming along nicely :thumb:, I will try and follow along as I tried a couple CRF towards the end of last month but one fell over and died on me already .... so hopefully the one left will keep on keeping on.

Update #3

Plants seem to be doing great so far. Plant #1 has recovered nicely from the topping.

However, I noticed an extra bit of growth from the main stem. I was under the impression that it would stop growing from the top and focus on the side branches

IMG_20170411_214719.jpg

Also, I have noticed that plant #1 has a few holes in her leaves. Doesn't seem to really be causing any problems so leaving it for now

How far you keeping your lights? Im using a 600 watt hid light, I've dimmed the light to 250 watts and its 18 inches away from my 10 day seedlings

'

my lights are 18 inches away

Are you using hid lights and on what setting did you keep yours? I've got a 600 hid light but dimmed to 250 watts I will wait till i transplant to a 3 gallon pot and turn up to 400 watts and after 2 weeks or so I will go the full 600 watts. If i see some nice growth and roots apearing at the bottom of the 3 gal pots I'll transplant to a 5 gal pot. I'm new to all this not sure if I'm right.

The lights I use are in my first post, with the rest of my setup. Im using 2, 200w LED lights.

The scrog i put up sort of did its job, but I dont think i did it properly. A learning experience non the less.
Unfortunately, my time-lapse camera died on me so I will have to set that up again eventually if i can

Until then.

Hope all is well in your world.
