2nd Grow

Ok this is my second attempt I'm already 1week into flower so I'm behind on post here is my set up

8x8 grow tent
2-800leds fan cooled
2-1000leds fan cooled
Carbon filter system
ffof soil
ff trio nutes
3gal pots

Strains are all indica

3- money makers
3-Ayahuasca Purple
4-og kush
1-big bud xxl
1- mystery

I only vegged for 5 weeks thinking maybe I could of vegged longer but plants are 18" tall right now I topped half of them many times and left half alone for comparison

Temps run from 72-78f and humidity is 48%

Looks great really, the first OG looks over watered a bit. But looks on point.

What is the issue bud? You were hoping they would be bigger?

No just making sure they are looking like they are supposed to. I just turned lights on in those pic so they may not be awake yet but I'm going to let dry out

They are only starting 2nd week flower today I know they will get bigger at least I hope

Don't worry too much about size now. If you get enough A grade herb to last you until your next harvest, then you've won.

Love them I started out with just cfls but that wasn't working for me so now I got 3600w of led and so far the are awesome

Temps running 77f humidity 55 second week floor plants are between 18" and 22"

To defoliate or not to defoliate that is the question

Thats a question that gets debated around 420Mag. I belong to the school that thinks its best not to defol unless needed to get light into flowers. I lst to open up the plants interior to get light to all the potential bud sights. I also scrog my plants to promote lateral growth. I defol some once stretch is over if i have fan leaves blocking buds.

I want to try scrog on my next grow is it difficult?

You're just laying a net a few to several inches above the plant and as it grows into the net you tuck the tops back under the net. You can direct branches wherever you have space in the net. It produces plants that grows at a single heigth with many more bud sites than a normal plant would produce. Pretty simple really.
