My First Grow - 420 Autos - 1000 Watts

my first grow and obviously my first journal.


so first of my set up, i have
1 5'x5' veg tent with one xxl hood, solis tek adjustable digital de/se 1000watt ballast.
i also have
2 4'x8' flower tents with sun system sungro 8" reflector hoods with solis tek adjustable digital de/se 1000 watt on light movers

im looking to get a harvest every 30 days.
i ordered a pack of seeds from 420 which were autoflowers ( 5 blueberry, 5 northern lights, and 5 amnesia haze) i decided to grow in soil since it seemed quit a bit less chance for ME to F@#/ it up im sure its still pretty easy to do so but i will figure it out.

i am growing in nutri mix hp +. I plan on being in 3 gallon smart pots and using sensi a and b two part nutes.

so of the 15 beans i got 13 popped 2 northern lights didnt . in my veg tent i also just go 8 clones ( 4 gg#4 and 4 cookies and cream) to start vegging so i can run both tents and get a harvest every 30 day or so.

right now since im just getting started im not running the 1000 watt in veg tent since everything is so small. i put a 200 watt 4 bulb flourecent in there today.

day 14 looking pretty good i think

gonna put in 3 gallon smart pots tonight for their final home

im wondering when i can move them into the bigger tent and put them under the hps/mh light its 1000 watts but dimmable to 600 and on a light movwr so wont stay directly above any for a long period of time.

I would go ahead and put them under it, just start with it higher around 28 to 32 inches and then each day take it down a inch or so till you get to around 22 to 24. I start my seedlings under my 1000w hps, I just make sure it's not to close, I also start my seedlings under my 1200 Mars led. I get better growth like that seems like.

took out the 4' 4 bulb flourecent (200 watts) and turned on on the big light.... we turned down to 600 watts.

also put all auto seedlings in 3 gallon smart pots( i know i have learned my lesson should have been started in those pots, but i didnt know about this website before i started. i have since learned alot of shit from here, there is a wealth of info here and alot of graet and helpful people. so thank you

Looks good, the transplant may not slow the autos down much and at least you are learning that's the most important thing, you will get better with each grow...️

Little stretch on the seedlings but looks like they are doing great now! Looking forward to starting my 2nd grow when my 420 strawberry kush seeds arrive! How long did yours take to get to you?? I'm stubbed for your grow sounds like you have a killer set up! Once you get rolling perpetually sounds like you'll be killing it any plans for LST?

Wow it's officially been 15 days I think 11 buisness.... fingers crossed for Monday tho! Can't wait to see your tents when they're packed with resin coated treats

I'm in! I'm growing 420 Blueberry outside so I am really curious to see how they do indoors. My first outdoor Blueberry ran 84 days and my second (which I ran LST on and I highly recommend it) is still fattening up at 93 days!!! 420 specs it at 55 days so I hope you get closer to that in the tent

Crazy that the autos went so long! Look great though! I was always told just to let autos go and avoid topping or over training.... looks like you showed them! Good looking colas!
