Whats up 420, I am back for another grow. Another Manifold. With a new light and new strains to try out. So lets just jump right in and get started with what Im working with.

I will be growing in a 4/4/5 Shorty Gorilla Grow Tent.

Thats a 6"Ipower fan/filter combo you can get on Amazon in a bundle. Iv used it for about 4 or 5 grows with 0 smell. Im sure its about time to change the filter but I just dont have the money right now. Anyway.

The light I will be using is a Amare SolarECLIPSE SE450+UVB

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got a new Honeywell Tower fan that osculates also instead of my old clip fan. I am pretty happy about it to be honest. lol But that may change during flowering if it gets in the way. here is a pic of it

Now let me introduce the lineup.

CHEMDAWG

FLOWER- 7-9 WEEKS

Chemdawg has developed quite the name for itself over the years. Between its mysterious origin, ambiguous genetics, and the plethora of successful crosses the strain has produced, Chemdawg has practically secured itself a permanent place in the cannabis hall of fame. The original source of powerhouse strains like Sour Diesel and OG Kush, Chemdawg is known for its distinct, diesel-like aroma. Pungent and sharp, you’ll be able to smell this hybrid from a mile away.

Cannabis newbies be warned: Chemdawg tends to be very potent. Depending on grow conditions, this strain tends to have THC levels of 15-20%. Consumers can expect to have a very cerebral experience, coupled with a strong heavy-bodied feeling.

SUPER SKUNK

FLOWER- 7-9 WEEKS

A predominantly indica variety, Super Skunk takes its robust flowers from its parent strain Skunk #1. By backcrossing the legendary Skunk with Afghani genetics, Sensi Seeds created a strain with dense, thick buds that are known to be extremely pungent with a surprisingly sweet taste. This strain produces a bold relaxing effect over the body and is a great answer for increased stress and body pains.

SOUR DIESEL

FLOWER - 10-12

Sour Diesel, sometimes called Sour D, is an invigorating sativa-dominant strain named after its pungent, diesel-like aroma. This fast-acting strain delivers energizing, dreamy cerebral effects that have pushed Sour Diesel to its legendary status. Stress, pain, and depression fade away in long-lasting relief that makes Sour Diesel a top choice among medical patients. This strain took root in the early 90's, and it is believed to have descended from Chemdawg 91 and Super Skunk.

FRUIT PUNCH

FLOWER - 7-9 WEEKS

Fruit Punch is a mostly sativa strain from Heavyweight Seeds, who bred this flavor powerhouse from Skunk, Haze, and Northern Lights genetics. Named for its swift hit of sweet fruity and tropical flavors, this sativa has something to offer in both taste and effect. Fruit Punch charges the mind with creative and social energy, so keep this strain in your stash jar for active days spent with friends or personal hobbies.

Ok thats the line up. All are above ground and growing as we speak. Iv took pics to keep record of it all.
They will be growing in FOX FARM OCEAN FORREST using EARTH JUICE LINE

SO for starters I took my seeds and soaked them in water for 12 hrs. I then put them in a wet paper towel. And let set for 24 hrs. At which point all but one had popped. The Fruit Punch had not popped. So I planted the other 3 and started another Fruit Punch. It popped and I put in soil. Something terrible went wrong as it grew up thru the soil as when I found it it was missing its starter leafs. So I started another seed but kept this little stub going. Here is the stub then and now. It is actually trying to spit out some new leafs.

I am just keeping stubby around to see what it does.

the Other Fruit punch is up and above ground doing fine but is about a week or more behind the rest.

I have transplanted the other 3 into their final containers. Which are 3 Gallon Fab Pots

I mixed in these with the soil before transplanting.

MY PLAN OF ATTACK is in the title. I am going to manifold these like I did the last Photos I grew. But I plan to maybe veg a little longer.

This will be my first real grow under this light in this tent. My over all plan of attack is to grow in the gorilla tent and when I flip to flower. I will start my next group in my Mars tent. that way when my gorilla tent is done flowering , my mars tent will be about ready to switch over to flower. I will then move them under the stronger light and flower under Amare. I will keep at this until may and then take a few HOT months off.

I hope to get alot of company in here and talk alot of shop. But if not I will make this for record purposes and for other growers research purposes. I have probably left some stuff out but I ll fig it out eventually and add it. Any question or thoughts just shoot. Until next time. Stay green

Great read mate, I've got some chemdog going aswell but I'm having some troubles with gnats and other things (I think) along with white widow and shiva shanti 2 and another lot of shiva in flower.

I forgot to mention how old they are. CD,SD,and SS are 2 weeks above ground today. The Fruit Punch is about 5 days above ground. But I forget the exact time.

I plan to water and give the 3 oldest their first cuts tomorrow. They are on their 6th node now. So I will cut down to the 3rd node and clear the bottom 2 nodes under the 3rd. Leaving only the 3rd nodes with their fan leafs. Ill take pictures of the act if I can remember.

I transplanted the FP into its final 3 gallon fab pot today. They are all 4 in their final pots and ready to veg out. Till nest time

Just curious as to the decision to go with the shorty tent. How did you see that as a benefit?

I would actually have preferred a 6 ft tent but if you go look for one they barely exist. Mars has one but its cheap trash that starts to fall apart as soon as you get it. PLUS I wanted a 4x4. In a perfect world I would have gotten a 4x4x6. But like I said. They just arent that many of them. I have a 3x3x6 mars tent and always have toom at the top. I usually need more room around to keep the girls from touching and laying on the tent walls. I cant get a 7 ft because my grow room roof is only 7 ft. or maybe even 6 10 or 6 11. Thats why I needed a 6 footer. But seeings how they dont exist hardly...I went with the 5 ft. I dont believe it will be a problem. Height isnt really a problem. I can always go back to scrogging if need be but I believe I will be just fine.

UPDATE: 17 DAYS ABOVE GROUND

I started the manifold/mainline tech today. I topped the 3 ready plants down to its 3rd node. And then cut off all nodes under it. Leaving only the 3rd node. I really wish all 4 plants would have germinated at the same time. I like keeping everything even. But you just cant control everything. So for now....the Fruit Punch will just have to keep waiting and growing. And in case a person was wondering why not top and cut earlier. Instead of waiting until they are 5 to 6 nodes. Its to make sure the plant has a healthy root structure and adult enough to handle to cuts without stunting to much. (or so Iv read) So here are the pictures I promised of the process.

I will water the 3 that got chopped on tonight with plain water. The soil is still fresh. Next water I may give a light dose of N with some support nutes.

I have about 12 nutes I will be using overall. Here is the list.

EJ GROW
EJ BLOOM
EJ BIG BLOOMIN GUANO
EJ MICROBLAST
EJ CATALYST
EJ HI BRIX
EJ META K
EJ CALMAG
EJ BIOZEUS
MAMMOTH P
TERPENEZ
PROTEKT

I will almost always bubble my nutes for 24 hrs before I feed using air pump and air stones.

Doing so should raise the extreme low PH of the EJ nutes from a low 4 to around 7. If caught sooner im sure you can stop when its right for you

I think thats it for now. I hope I didnt go too far into detail. But yet at the same time I hope I went far enough. :) till next time

I have to laugh at what we do. We invest SO much money and time to grow our own weed. The economics of it are whacked! And we're not even assured of a successful grow. Just goes to show that it's not about the destination, it's about the journey. :)

I hope your journey is a good one!

It truly is. :) I get nervous at the start of each grow like its the 1st. Im still researching all the time checking things out. Seeing if there is any "new to me" information out there. Maybe if I read something a couple different times on a couple different occasions Ill understand something a little better. Or maybe something will click. There really is something about growing your own stash that is hard to put into words. And when you make it to the end with what you set out to to. At least for the most part anyway, that feeling of success and "I did this" Theres not alot like it. Then of course the reward at the end. Primo sticky icky that you can roll plentiful. I could keep going but wont :)

UPDATE: 27 DAYS ABOVE GROUND

The 3 oldest have now had all their cuts. I now have 8 tops. I chose to go with the updated version of the manifold by Nebula. To cut some veg time off. So instead of topping and clearing again. And then doing it again. I too the 2 tops I had. Topped each one down to the 3rd node. . Then I took and 2nd, middle node and chopped it. Leaving only the 1st and 3rd node. I will now let them grow up. LSTing as they go. Spreading them away from center. Here are some pics from last nights HST.

Fed the girls last night. They all 4 split 2 gallons. Each gallon contained

3tsp GROW
1tsp BLOOM
1tsp HI-BRIX
1sp CALMAG
1tsp PROTEKT

All 4 plants are done with their cuts. Other than some defoliation of course. Now its just a matter of letting them grow and keeping them as healthy as possible. Here are some pics

UPDATE: 38 DAYS ABOVE GROUND

I fed them last night. I should have took some pictures. I fed them 2 and a half gallons of this

9tsp GROW
2tsp BLOOM
2tsp CALMAG
3tsp CATALYST
2tsp MICROBLAST
1/4tsp BIOZEUS
1/4tsp MAMMOTH P
2tsp PROTEKT

I actually didnt want to use that much grow. But was at the end of the bottle and it appeared to be empty. Just a little stream coming out. So I thought Id just use the rest. But tsp after tsp it just kept coming. I could have stopped at any time but at the same time....couldnt stop. Tiz why I added the half gallon in there. That and I wanted to make sure I gave them a good soak. I put all this in a bucket and bubbled it for 24 hrs. Checked the ph after the bubble and it went from low 4s to 7. So I added a little bit more grow until the ph was 6.5. I then fed the plants.

During LST of my Sour D (Days ago) One of the branches ripped damn near off. I tried to save it but a day or so later I cut the whole thing off. So now my SD only has 7 branches. Sucks but I didnt want it growing with a gimpy branch. Slowing things down. So I just cut it off.

Well... I think thats it for now

UPDATE: 41 DAYS ABOVE GROUND

Fed the girls last night along with a hair cut. Also put my support rings in. Now its just a matter of letting them grow north a bit. I fed them 2 gallons. Each gallon contained

2tsp GROW

1tsp CALMAG
1tsp CATALYST
1tsp PROTEKT

Here are some pics from last night.

UPDATE: 44 DAYS ABOVE GROUND

Made nutes last night. They have been bubbling since. I will feed them tonight. So far my strategy is Monday Strong solution of nutes, Thursday Light solution of nutes, and Saturday, Just a small drink of water with Catalyst or Hi-Brix. Letting them all split just a gallon. That way they are still pretty dry by the time Monday comes around for their drench. I made 2 1/2 gallons of nutes. It contained

3tsp GROW
2tsp BLOOM
2tsp CALMAG
2tsp MICROBLAST
2tsp PRO-TEKT
3tsp HI-BRIX

I checked the PH a sec ago and its up to about 6.5 But by the time I feed tonight, it may be up to 7. Which I expected. Which is why I only gave 3tsp of GROW. I will probably add another 1tsp To drop the ph back down to 6.something. Its not an exact science but Its more than Iv done in any of my other 4 grows due to it being organic. And its suppose to buffer itself. But I figure. This cant hurt...Id like to try to keep it around 6.5 So I will add GROW...which dramatically drops the PH, I will add it until its right. I probably should have fed them when I checked it a sec ago. But its lights out. SO I will wait.

Another side note. I ran out of Earth Juice GROW a week or so ago. And have been using some samples Iv gotten from Roots Organic. Iv been using R.O. Buddah Grow the last couple times. And I gotta say. My ladies seem to love it. It is a nice and thick stinky mix. Im digging it so far. Anyway. Thats it for now. Ill take some pics later.

These pics are from like 5 days ago. Ill try and get some new ones today. I am pretty close to flipping to flower. They are about an inch or two above the rings right now. All but the CD. Its still about ring level.

20171016_213104.jpg
20171016_213128.jpg

Its almost 7 weeks in veg. Its 48 DAYS to be exact. I think I will switch to flower maybe on day 50. Give the CD a little more time to raise up. I need to be careful though and keep in mind I am in a shorter tent now. Anyway. Thats it for now.

UPDATE: 51 DAYS ABOVE GROUND

I fed them today. They split 2 gallons of nutes. Mix went per gallon

2tsp GROW
3tsp BLOOM
1tsp BIG BLOOMIN GUANO
1/4tsp META K
1tsp HI-BRIX
1 1/2tsp CALMAG
1tsp MICROBLAST
1/8tsp BIO ZEUS
1/8tsp MAMMOTH P
1tsp PRO-TEKT

I defoiated last night. I think I took too much to be honest. I Need to take a picture of them. I took almost all the fan leafs.

I also decided it was probably past time to switch to flower. So I set my timer to be on from 9pm to 9am starting tonight.

I'm sorry I'm new to this - dumb question. Right now I have two gallon jugs - one for grow and the other gallon for calmag.

Are you saying you can mix the nutes together and they won't have a bad effect?
