I've been wanting to start a journal for some time, but I'm really not good at keeping track tbh.

Since I'm starting some autos for the first time I thought I'd start one. It's also going to be proof of concept & comparison between cloth pot & autopot with airdome.

Seeds: GSR auto blueberry
Medium: promix 50/50 coco/perlite & freedom farms premium potting soil
Lighting: outdoor full sun for 10-12 hours
Aeration: airstone in reservoir & airdome set up. Bubbling now for 24 hours.

Seeds are in damp cotton, will be planted directly into final pots tonight when I get home from work.

Cloth pot is 20l & autopot is 15l

Will post pics when I get home, but here's a pic of my current grow that I took over the weekend...
3 x Royale haze from Medical Cannabis Seed Bank. Age "unknown" wasn't expecting a re-veg. The 2 big ones were a re-veg from my winter outdoor grow in May 2017 the little one was popped a few months ago & transplanted last month. No real feeding schedule, they get a feed maybe every 2 weeks with EHG Grow & Micro

One thing about the autopot so far. The soil doesn't dry out completely. Saved the seedling a horrible fate. The one in the cloth pot was luckily still alive, although the soil was almost completely dry. Waiting on that one to break the surface. & will post pics tonight

It's been a week now from seed. The one in the autopot is quite a bit bigger, I guess because she broke through the soil before the one in the fabric pot. So far water level in the autopot reservoir has barely dropped & the other one I'm giving a light watering once a day. So far so good...

Another week & I'll be pumping air into the autopot... Maybe longer. Guess I'll wait & see.

Just a quick update on the girls. Both are healthy & growing nicely. The one in the autopot is growing considerably faster since I started pumping air into the pot during the day. I added a weak nutrient solution to her reservoir yesterday. EHG Grow & Micro.

Thanks. Me too bud, I plan on swopping them all to autopots if it works out better. Getting tired of manually watering one of my plants twice a day.

Took a few pics this morning. Some amazing growth over the past 3 days. I'm running air into the autopot 24/7 for the past few days as well...

No real change on the blueberry autos, apart from some good growth since I last posted. Added a bit more EHG Grow & Micro to the res, the amount that I would usually give to one of my other girls... still need to get an EC metre, but doing good so far without one.

My re-vegged plants have started to flower. Couldn't help posting a pic of them as well.

They are. Lol. I had to hold off popping the white rhino seed I got from GSR & had to find my amnesia kush a new home. Light space is limited on the side of the house.

The 2 big ones have to be watered twice a day now. They suck that bag dry by the time I get home.

How you coping on that front with the water restrictions? You bathing every second day in order to feed them lol

Hahaha. Sacrifices have to be made, even a seeplap in the morning instead of a shower helps. .

The blueberry autos are doing great. Already noticed a few pistols, so they'll start flowering soon.

Couldn't help posting an aerial pic of the medium sized Royale haze. She's just started flowering. Super chuffed...

Looking good brother, do they need a little feeding to darken up a bit? Can see the colour difference especially in the big plants. Other than that things are looking spot on.

They get fed the same nutes at the same time. I guess it's just a variation in the same strain. They even get the same amount of light... although the lighter one shades a bit of the darker one early in the morning. Only difference is the darker one has struggled with getting enough water, I've flipped the crate to catch the runoff to keep the soil moist during hot days like today.

I'm not going to change anything now that they're both going into flower... They both look healthy enough to me.

Another quick update, the blueberry in the autopot is flowering extremely well at the moment, the other one just has a few pre-flowers... I'm expecting good things from the autopot. Although it's a bit smaller, the internodes are shorter & the flowers are developing faster
