Hi GG, :welcome: to :420:
The 300W CFL and the 180W CFL Dual...do you mean 300 actual Watts of 6500K and 180 actual Watts of 2700K?

Hey highandwired I have one 300w 9U CFL blue spectrum so 6400k and a 180w DUAL spectrum so 6400k/2700k. Hoe this answers your question mate, going to post pics after my tea needa install blackberry software.

I didn't know there were 300W CFL bulbs. Does that give off a lot of heat?

Yep mines called blue giant, search google for 300w CFL Blue giant, they come with standard e40 hangers they get pretty war but you can have them more or less touching the tops of the plant, my veg growng rate has gone up quite alot with the blue giant cost me about 35 quid i think, well worth it.

Just changed the res and upped nutes to 2ml ionic grow per litre of water and changed from 14 litre to 12 litre get the newer roots stretching for that water, will be keeping a close eye on them due to the nute change.

When i first changed i added to much ph down and due to having no more ph up i had to change the 14 litre all over agen haa wt a bastard

This babys now onto the 5th node and there so compact which i love, going to take cuttings next week to give it a week to recover before i put her into flower.

PEACE

Hey i am also growing some diesel ryder and plan to do a very similar hydro setup just a question i saw on the pic at days four you had them in hydro medium already did you start them in rock-wool?because yours seem to be growing quite a bit fast than my own
