I couldn't get to the hearing but I did contact my legislator.
I was disappointed with what I read about the comments made by the senators who went to Colorado in investigate the "Colorado Experiment". I didn't hear any positive comments. All I have heard so far are things like "We can't allow people to grow their own because it just feeds the black market..." There's some false logic for you. And another was saying something like "We can't allow edibles because they are so dangerous...". Just when I get filled with hope, I get reminded of how grindingly slow this legalization process is.
