Dignified Access to Medical Marijuana Prescription

Greetings Everyone,

After hearing and reading some of the stressful situations many people are going through right now trying to obtain a medical cannabis prescription I wanted to put this information out there. I live in Toronto Canada and the best clinic I have come across so far is Phytomedical. Not only was the doctor there extremely patient and compassionate, I truly felt he respected me and respects cannabis as medicine. I say dignified access because that is what the team at phytomedical was all about.

The environment looked and felt more like a holistic healing centre than a doctors office and unlike most cannabis clinics I was not required or asked to urinate in a cup. They have a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor who offers acupuncture and other herbal medicines, a cranial-sacral therapist, a vape lounge and even offer a space and equipment to do your cannabis extractions. They also offer Skype consults for those far away or with mobility issues.

I had all my medical documents with me and after a half hour consult with the doctor I left with my prescription that same day and was ready to order my medicine stress free. It was also great as the prescriptions are for one full year not three months as it is with the other clinics I came across. At the end 400$ was a good price to pay for the level of professionalism and ongoing quality care that phytomedical continues to provide. A truly stress free and dignified experience from start to finish.

Here is the website for anyone interested. Take care guys.

hey bushdoctor hows it going. did $400 cover everything including any followups? did you need a referral? online appts for all canadians? i had one not long ago that was cancelled because i didnt live there. with any luck my dr will do it for me next week, but i would like options if it doesnt pan out. tks!

Hello TheNewf,

Yes 400$ covered everything including follow-ups. I did not need a referral, you can sign a document to allow the Phytomedical staff to access your medical records form you family dr. or specialist etc and they pretty much take all the stress away of you having to deal with doctors who want to do everything under the sun for you except prescribe medical cannabis. They do provide just as reliable Skype consults for all Canadians. If you're getting the run around or the whole process is exacerbating stress and anxiety then I would suggest calling Phytomedical today.

Hope that helped and I hope all works out for you TheNewf.

Thanks for the information BushDoctor79. I took your advice and looked into Phytomedical. I paid $400 and had one of the best doctors appointments. My prescription was for one year! The doctor was very cannabis friendly, I was very surprised. I originally went with the producer called Aphria because they had a very high CBD strain. I then found out about the producer Aurora and the staff switched me over to Aurora right away, no extra charges. Aurora has both very high CBD and high THC. I actually just got my first Aurora shipment this week. I have to say that the Aurora buds were beautiful. Anyways, I am very excited all around with this whole experience. It is nice to be able to order my medicine online and have it delivered to my house, and be legal. I can take my medicine in complete peace. Things are definitely changing....

I am looking forward to growing a couple of plants of my own with these new regulations released today. I know they just got officially released today, but does anyone have some insight into how to go about doing that? Do I need to see the doctor again? Will a doctor need to sign anything on the new forms? I briefly looked at the forms, but didn't see anywhere for a doctor to sign.

Thanks for any help... this is a great community.
