Root nodules

Hi guys
Been growing in organic super soil for many years and a few years ago my roots changed. The plants are perfectly happy and it causes no ill effects. All my strains roots now are covered in nodules and all I can really find is that nitrogen fixing bacteria causes root nodules but I was under the impression that the bacteria only effect legumes.

Any hints on what causes it?

Nitrogen Fixation. Good shit, it means your plants are working well with the nitrigenase they have made from molybdenum, iron, phosphorus, and sulfur. Which turns dinitrogen into ammonia. Here is some reading on it from my class at NSU.
