Coco fiber medium

Im new at working with coco fiber medium and was curious to if and how the watering cycle is different from soil and other mediums. I've used rockwool with a flood and drain and they could be watered for me at least once and twice a day late into flowering. It would be awesome if someone could clue me in on how the coco fiber retains water and if you would use the same nutes as a hydroponic setup?

I'm new with coco as well, but have a tester plant in 100% coco coir that I've been growing for 1 month. The plant has been growing amazingly fast and is super healthy. The water and air retention in the coco is great. I've been hand watering once everyday and letting the runoff go to waste. I'm not using hydro nutes (i'm using fox farms) but I am keeping the PH at hydro levels...about 5.8.

Hope that helps.

ConqueringLOJ has got it right.
Pure coco coir no additives.
Fox Farm works fine, may need some cal/mag. Strains will vary.
PH between 5.8 and 6.3.
Run to waste feeding.
Three weeks into flower I may go to feeding 2 times a day.
Last weeks of flower I use pure FF Big Bloom. 1-2 weeks.
Using FF BB, its organic, you dont need to flush, but I do.
I then flush daily last 7 days of flower. Your cannabis tastes clean.
This works very well.
