Hey guys! In my country i couldnt get a hold of some perlite, theres a source i can get it from but it would take long to arrive. Ive found some pumice at a local hardware should i buy it for my mix? would it be worth getting?

I would think that the problem with using pumice in an ordinary mix would be it's weight.Over time I believe that the majority would sink through the stratum and simply end up in the bottom of the container. The beauty of perlite is that it stay suspended in the mix. Best of luck!
Pumice is ph neutral and has a porosity of about 90% and seems to me would be an excellent replacement for perlite, if that's all you can get...... Google it for more info... it's as simple as that.....
