I've been researching soil recipes, and no till quite a bit lately and would like to jump in.
I'd like confirmation that I'm heading in the correct direction with my recipe, and current knowledge if someone wouldn't mind too much.
Base, all 15L bags:
1/3 peat moss
1/3 aeration (rice hulls, pumice, vermiculite)
1/3 earth worm castings
Amendments:
1 cup alfalfa meal
1 cup bone & blood meal
1/2 cup kelp meal
?? cup glacial rock dust
Extras:
Molasses, malted barley, and earth worm castings for AACT.
I have access to greensand, dolomite lime, and Epsom salt if needed. I have read both people who suggest all and some who swear by none.
I have a month or so until my next grow so I'm getting started now. Am I on the right track? How much glacial rock dust do I add? I've seen it listed from anywhere from a cup to four cups. Do my other amendments need amending?
