Hi all.
This will be my first grow and the tent is not gonna be ready till the new year, I was gonna get my soil mix ready and if it needs time to cook it can, was after ppl's opinions on this as a base mix, was thinking of using this company for soil and compost as its local.

The Field Compost product range

was thinking may be mix a couple of there bags together, like field number 1 with number 5 or 15, what would you guys go with?

Also found a local supply of rotten manure, its a mixture of horse, donkey, goat and pig, the lady says she canâ€t say itâ€s organic, but she has run her land along organic guidelines, so there have been no sprays, medicines, etc. used and all their livestock were fed on organic feed, with no growth promoters or hexane, so it is completely safe for organic vegetables, sounds promising? would you use that in your organic grow?

While researching and searching come across this, Planting Biscuits with Mycorrhizal Fungi and Vaminoc Mycorrhizal Fungi, didn't know if there where helpful.

Planting Biscuits containing Mycorrhizal Fungi - These biscuits are formed from compressed coir fibre and contain Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi, beneficial bacteria and slow release balanced fertilisers to give your plants the best start in life. When watered, the biscuit will swell up to 5 times its original size and all the beneficial microbes will start to grow, bringing the compost to life. The other components will provide a steady release of nutrients and trace elements for up to four months whilst the water retaining crystals will help prevent your compost drying out. These biscuits are very easy to use - simply pop one in the bottom of the planting hole and plant the plant on top. There is no waste as you use 1 biscuit per plant. There are two different biscuits available

Vaminoc Mycorrhizal Fungi - are naturally occuring beneficial soil fungi, which colonize the roots of plant and are essential for healthy plants. By adding these Mycorrhizal Fungi when seed sowing, laying a lawn or planting, a huge secondary root system of fungi will develop along side the plants own roots, which will supply nutrients and water to the plant for its entire lifetime.
