Anyone using lava rock dust in their soil mixes?

Once, I was stoned I was looking at some volcanoes and the fields of green covering those old Nature's forges. And as I'm a fan of a nice rich soil and compost teas, I wondered if adding some nicely baked lava dust will make those flavors pop up and maybe get exotic. Or it could be even cooler to base the whole soil around lava sand. I think, there ought to be broader range of minerals in the lava than in your ordinary garden. I mean, it is lil more fresh- right from the oven. I was also thinking it could be a way of lowering the PH of your soil as most of the lava rocks are acidic, containing lots of SiO2.

Any thoughts and experiences are much welcome, have a nice one folks! :thanks:
