When you zoom in it looks like some sort of little critters - have you touched them to see if it is on the leaves or part of the leaves ?

No the color is in the bud and spreads to the leaves. I think it's bud rot. Can anyone confirm that? I'm still not sure.

Only way is to tell is if the bud falls apart when touching it gently if it does cut it out before it spreads

Doesnt look like budrot, looks genetic and it looks like theres bird poop or a snail on the fan leaf above the purple spot.
