Outdoors WW photo harvest

This plant was beyond the capacity of my indoor garden so I stuck it in the dirt in a field across the street. It germinated on 6/23 and I transplanted it over there about 7/3. Its done surprisingly well, growing with the other weeds in the hot sun and cool rain. It did get an occasional fertilization so I can't say it was totally left to mother nature to take care of. I know it has at least a couple weeks left if not more but time is running out. Should I chop it just before the first frost or can it ride through a mild one? Theres none in the 10 day forecast but it is almost mid October in MI so I know its coming soon.

The buds look nice and I don't see any rot yet...

Buds look great, nice work. I'm always concerned about bud rot, but if it's going to be dry enough, you might want to go a little longer. But if you're getting daily dew with the colder weather, I'd keep a close eye on it. Rot can happen quickly.

But if you decide to harvest soon, to avoid risk of rot, you should end up w/ some great buds.

Again, nice work!
