If you don't have a scope or a loop, a macro lens can help you get close in on those trichomes. The simplest way I've heard it was from Grateful Grower on YouTube ... once you start seeing hairs turn rust colored... you have approximately three weeks left... but the truth teller is zooming in on the trichomes.
