Green-thumb newb here, greetings
Wanted to share some photos of my first attempt at growing and perhaps get a thread going
First thing first, the equipment:
4'x4' tent (thick 1860D material) 6.8' tall
1 x 315 CMH with Phillips Agro bulb
1 x Morsen COB full spectrum LED (two cobs) for support light
Panasonic FV10NLF1 inline fan (super quiet)
4"x20" black beauty carbon filter
5 gallon fabric pots
TP Link wifi smart plugs for control of light and fan
Sonoff TH16 wifi switch for humidity and temp monitor and control of humidifier
Medium: Coco Coir
All Nutrients by canna: Coco A+B, Canazym, Bio Rhizotonic, Canna Boost
Water: tap
Feeding on light cycle (currently up to 800ppm)
Temp - 28-29C during light cycle / 20-21C during dark
Humidity: 30-35% light / 45-48% night
Plants:
GG4 feminized (seeds from Canuk Seeds Canada)
seed in water on Oct-28
Oct-31 in coco puck
Transplanted in 5 gallon Nov-20
Jack 47 (2 plants) (Sweet Seeds)
Seed in water Nov-15
Nov-16 in coco pucks
Transplanted in 5 gallon Dec-06
Plants were on 18/6 up until yesterday, and I'm wondering if I should gradually start moving them down to 12/12 over the course of next week. Unfortunately the Jack seeds arrived later and they are 14 days behind on veg.
Currently on 800ppm feed mix of coco a+b, rhizotonic, cannazym and cannaboost. I target PH of about 5.9-6.0
I didn't touch the GG4, but the Jack47's were topped after transplanting.
Plants look healthy and nice lush green with no leaf burn.
The colas are loading up and I have trimmed some of the larger leafs to get more light to the rest of the plant.
I only wonder if they are growing as fast as they should, since they don't stretch as much as I see on other people's photos. I'm not sure whether this is because my light is too far from the plants (about 80cm away) or it's the type of plants and they are just short and stocky. The GG4 is around 45 centimeters tall now (17"), while the Jack 47's are on 5th node and around 15-17cm (7")
I noticed that both strains have longer period for completion, so any tips if I should continue veg for a little while longer or not will be greatly appreciated.
Please feel to comment or critique as well, as a newbie grower, any tips will be welcomed.
Photos of the setup and plants
Larger plant is the GG4 and the two smaller ones in the background are Jack47
