Thank you they are doing well in dwc with the water at 12 degrees Celsius

That's cold. I use a rdwc with a res & I changed it yesterday. Incoming started at 11.5 C but it warmed up to 17.5 C by today. Mine are in stretch & it didn't slow them down a bit.

I don't use a res just a water cooler modded to cool the water being pumped through I usually start the water at about 7c or of the tap Wyatt light cycle don you use during veg
