Leaves developing yellow spots on one plant.
FFOF soil. 3rd week since planting from seeds.
Only used distilled water so far, no nutrients added.
600w Metal halide. 18 inches away.
Rest of plants seem fine.

I was told to wait 3-4 weeks before adding nutrients with FoxFarms Ocean Forest soil. I will need to water soon, so I will start adding the nutrients.

Are you pHing your water? If so, that might be the problem. Because even though you were not adding nutrients to your water , when adding ph down, you're adding phosphoric acid. Which means they were using the nutrients in the soil PLUS the phosphate that you were adding when pHing your water. phosphate toxicity can lock out micro nutrients such as calcium, magnesium , iron , copper , zinc. And from the looks of your plants they seem to be showing first signs of mag, calcium , sulfur and iron deficiencys. Maybe due to phosphate toxicity.

When growing in soil do not ph your water. As long as the pH of the water you're using isn't off too drastically you'll be fine. Just make sure to check your ppms.

Your soil might be too hot then. Capture runoff water. Filter through coffee filter ( to remove any dirt particles ) then check your ppm

I would flush her first. Check the ppm from the run off. And depending on what the ppms are , I would add 1/4 strength nutrients to the last gallon of the flush.

A plant that age, id say somewhere around 350 ppms

Ok thx. I removed the two spotted leaves and flushed that plant then watered all my plants with 1/4 nutrients. Let's see how that goes!

Because I'm a noob I guess! This is my first time ever growing anything. I figured those leaves are gonna end up getting removed anyways and didn't want to take a chance that it was something that could spread...
