Soil takes 7 days to dry out

is this normal? my plant seems ok but it seems too long compared to other peoples. i have plenty of drainage holes and run off comes through easy humidity is 50% majority of the time. not sure the size of the pot but its big im guessing around 10-12 litres, temps around 25c

It should be fine as long as you are careful to let her dry out between waterings, and resist the urge to water before she's dry. Also she'll probably gain a little size still and may get down to slightly shorter cycles.

I agree with WeaselC. It is normal and also best, to let her dry out before watering.

that's a mighty big pot... gonna hold lots of water. like WeaselC and AngryB said, resist the urge to water early. Let it dry, and let the roots seek out the water and fill the pot.
