What should I do for yellowing of new growth?

HI and thanks for your time.

i have a seedling that is growing slow and its new growth is yellowish. Not sure what i should do.

around a week i took note of the light color of this one and took a pic.

here it is now at 16 days.

??? Any ideas ???
 
i will try 1/4th nutes today and keep an eye on her. Watering has been a challenge due to the soil i used (fafard premium topsoil) for potting. Im watering light not trying to soak the hole pot at this time. Thanks for the help!
 
thanks! i started the nuts the day you recommended and a few days later i seen an improvement so moved nuts to 1/4 for small plants. it seems to be working!

Your soil looks bare. No perlite, no fluffy soil. When using a fertilizer you need to mix it with a base potting soil as well. Lack of nitrogen! You can recover it by getting some real potting soil and put a layer on top and water it in. Don’t add a bunch of nutrients. Try adding hi nitrogen potting soil and just water it in. You should be fine in a few days.
