I've grown outdoors, and never done indoors. I have three ww x big bud feminised, and just put under 600w light after growing up for a few days. I don't know if I have put them under the light too soon its is about 3 feet away, some parts of my leaves are yellow and there was a black spot that is now gone plus there is a lot of white hairy stuff not sure if mildew or trychomes, any suggestions? last checked ph of soil was 5.5, 6 I have dutch pro grow a and b as well as dutch pro ph up

That light is way to strong for those babies. Unless you can put it 8 ft away, you need to dim that ballast or get something around 100w. They are already looking light bleached.

I thought so, I can get the light 6 feet away is that good enough? And what can I do for them should I just leave them?

I'd dim your ballast if possible plus the 6 ft away. The babies only need 50 watts or so.

OK thanks, I can't dim the ballast right now but I have a regular light bulb in the ceiling that is pretty bright. If I use a lower wattage bulb I would need to bring it closer to the plants?

Just put the light as high as it will go. If it's a metal hood, use a magnet on one side to tilt the light a bit away from the plants

I see a number of things wrong.here.

1 .Way too big of pots to germinate seeds in. large surface area needing to be damp creates larger area for damp soil loving mites bugs critters.etc.

2. The soil looks to be a bit overwatered.

3. the light being used is a waste of amps for this stage ...why hang a light 8 feet above normal that pulls all that wattage when you can have a cfl at the right height, less than 1/4 of the heat and costs of running. and vegges the plants better.

4. Either the soil is too hot or you fed them already which overfed them since seedlings have 14 days of baby food in them. (some more) some a little less.

5.the runoff ph looks like it's probably too low. locking out everything the plant may try and absorb.

If I was you...(I'm not so don't take offense)
I would.

1. Transplant to a small pre prepared pot (1- 2 liters) that's more manageable. and won't require you keep such a large surface area wet .

2.Flush with plain ph'd water for now until the seedling returns to a normal positive growth state. and make sure the runoff to those pots is in soil range 6.5 to 7.2 Don't water log it..make sure it drains well.

3.get a cheap cfl and keep it at the right height. less heat+right spectrum+less electricity wasted+ better growth = BETTER all.around.

4.while the plants are in the small pots use that opportunity to correctly SET that soils ph in range in the big buckets by flushing 1/4 strength nutes until you see the right runoff ph.

5. continue vegging under the cfl with the small pots until the plant is Big enough to need more room..

6 THEN TRANSPLANT to those big buckets and crank on the hps you have at the right height and rock and roll!!

Turned out to be a male but took him out fast looks like getting 8oz off 2 still decent
