New at growing - Nutrient deficiency?

This is my first time ever growing. I noticed little flying insects at my soil. I used neem oil to get rid of them. But now my plants are yellowing at the edges and are getting yellowish spots on them. Anyone know the problem and how to correct it? Also the stems are turning a purple color towards the leave.

I see the same happen to mine sometimes I just learned to live with it but I did figure esout what happened to mine I think. Lol.
I some how brought in all kinds of fungus gnats, and mites, I got rid of them then that started happening little stunted leaves and random dead spots. Once I harvested I popped out the root ball and a nest of centepedes was in there. I figure they were after the fungus gnat larvae, then I made them scarce so they dug around to find some destroying roots, couldn't find anymore, so they hibernated. Maybe they were in the soil, maybe they found my grow idk.

See mine is in a closet indoors. When I saw the bugs there was very few of them. Maybe like 3 or 4. I just want to make sure it is something i can fix so it doesn't damage my plants

Gotcha good luck, maybe neem changed the soil ph, and its, showing beginning signs of a calcium deficiency.

I noticed their sitting in the run off I usually dump my runoff out so they don't get root rot.

Raise your pots to let run off sit below it not in it, I use soda crates but I own a restaurant so its easy to get but IMPORTANT!! I agree cal-mag and if you see bugs for more than a couple days you got a issues
