Thoughts on side/underlightning?

Hi guys, got a quick question. What do you guys think about using compensating light from underneath/the sides?

In my scenario for example, I use a mars hydro 300w, and thinking about using additional led strips for the sides/underneath.

Side-lighting can be useful - under-light however - that's just a waste of electricity

Maybe try lst to get more light between it, I've got a mars led too

It's just red electrical tape haha taped it to a branch and tied it to the bucket
