Keep dog away

Hi there. any tips for keeping your dog away from your plants outdoors aside from blocking it off

My dogs love to eat the leaves, and if I cannot ensure they can't get to the outdoor plants, then I make a 'cage' around the plants with fence wire that is 3' or 4' tall. Wire that is rigid enough to stand on it's own and easy to work with - just a couple of stakes to keep it in place and then no worries about the dogs 'grazing'. Other than that, if the dogs are yours then training them to stay away from the plants if you can supervise them when they are out and near them.
