Can I cut leaves & branches that have died due to heat stress when they're 4-5 week's into flowering

It'd be nice to see some pictures. But I'd say yes.
Mine are in 5th week of flowering and no leaves have died. You might have an issue. It is normal for leaves to die or yellow in late flower.
