Running out of space, plant getting too tall.

I have an issue with one of my plants. It has taken off and is about a foot taller than the rest of the plants. It doesn't have much room to grow and its getting close to the light which i can't lift any higher. I am pretty sure the genetics are the same. I will get a photo up soon. any ideas? Should i cut the top off of her? I don't know what to do, it will only be a couple days before shes kissing the hps.

If you've got some lateral room, try tying her down from the top (bend her over )

Ok when i get a chance i will put a photo of her up so you see my options better. In the mean time i will find some string.
