When do you start your week count?

I know to some it is a minor question but when do you start your week count.

I have googled it and can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Do you start the count from the time time you put them under your lights on the 18/6 cycle even though they may have been germinating for 7-10 days, regardless of size?

I'm only a newb.

Thanks in advance.

I keep track of two dates: from the time they emerge from their seeds, and from the day I put them under flower.

it can get complicated if you're taking clones. Clones are genetically the same age as their mother plant, but you also want to know how long it takes for the clones to root. So if you clone, keep track of when you took the cutting and which plant you took it from.

Thanks for that AK.
People talk about a 4 or 6 week Veg cycle and I wasn't quite sure when they counted from. There is so much information out there and only so much time to take it in.

My seeds popped out two weeks ago in Jiffy and I put them in 4 inch pots a week ago today and put them under lights. with the exception of two which had problems discarding their shell, the others are steaming along.
Once again thanks.
