The basic reasons for topping are usually to make a plant bushy, grow more large colas, and to make an even garden profile. When a plant is topped, the growth inhibiting hormones are removed. Branches then grow faster. These same hormones could also be "diffused", by removing the small fan leaves from the top.


Do this two or three times, at five, to seven day intervals, and branches will grow up even with the top. Mohawk plants, at four or more stages indoor, and anytime during vegetation outdoors.
