Error box comes when trying to edit a post. Title error, too many characters?

I was trying to add (edit) some information to a post a bit ago, and every time I tried to add the line I wanted an error box popped up about the title being too long. I tried several times to add the line either before the website link I had included, and after spacing below the website url a couple of spaces. It would not let me add the additional information, I had to post a new post to get it there.

Can someone tell me what I did wrong, or why this happened?

We've had no other similar reports of this. Looking at your screenshot, your thread title ends "Seeds & M" - which is not so now as I've checked. It could have been to do with that.

Could you try editing again and letting us know if you have the same issue?

I've had not trouble editing in the last couple of days, so whatever the bug was it has apparently moved on. It only happened when I had a link included in the post, several times with the one mentioned.

I was actually going to mention that &amp thing during the last website help issue we were having on linking to thread posts, but I decided to leave it alone to not further complicate the post issues.

Glad you fixed that, although it's been that way a long time and didn't seem to cause any problems.

A little tweak here, and little tweak there, and everything is working in tweaky harmony.
