Why am I not allowed to post grow journals?

Grow Journals does not allow posts for anyone. It's just the access point for the sub-forums.
If you go to Journals In Progress, you'll see a black box at the top left, "Post New Thread". Click on that, post in the box, add a title, click "Submit New Thread" and you're away!

We've all been novices. 
You know... I don't know how often new members get confused by this, but if a staff member with the proper thread creation permissions were (able) to post a thread in that "lobby" with a title something along the lines of "Create New Journal Threads in the Journals in Progress Sub-Forum," it might help. Assuming that folks who are looking for "a button" will scroll down and notice it, of course. It could either be a null 1-character post or a short How-To Create a Grow Journal Thread with suggestions of... err, I mean a link to the sticky in the JiP sub-forum, lol.
