You're exactly right. You'd make oil with less % cannabinoids. But you would increase the "entourage effect". What you call "possibly capture some other beneficial elements". Right on. :Namaste:

The main reason is that the water pulls (dissolves) more of the plant material than you want. Said another way: The lower the proof of the alcohol (purity of the solvent), the lower the strength of the oil (% cannabinoids). :Namaste:

I tried PG and VG with and without terpenes. I never tried it with JUST terpenes. Damn, so close !!! Good luck LC. Would give you my terpenes, but I've learned it's not good knowing where each other lives. How much do they cost, I've forgotten ? :Namaste:

Bought some from a different vender when I was trying to make a tincture for vap pens. Experiment was not successful. It kept clogging up the pen and I gave up. Sorry....no conclusion as to the terpenes. :Namaste:
