Nettles are good visual camouflage. Aniseed confuses dogs' noses. Fennel might work too and is quite tall. There's a post from LittleCat on companion planting - he/she might know.

Thanks for this great post. Do you have any info on nasturtiums (good companions generally) and nettles, or on plants that don't go well with weed?
