I would have guessed that the test would have given a positive result. One week doesn't seem to be a sufficient amount of time. Try taking the test again except use it when you take your first piss of the day (preferably first thing in the morning). See if you get a different result.

I hate to say it but your best bet is to substitute yours with someones clean urine or use synthetic. Eight days just isn't long enough even for the most casual smoker.

Try your local pharmacy or Walmart. They should have test kits. The ones that test specifically for marijuana aren't too expensive.
