If you are using a StinkBuddies type system, the original plans do not call for rigid attachment of the spray bars inside the rails. I have been using this type of system for a few years, and have tried several different ways to try to keep the spray bar in place, but hoping it stays where you...
I have some similar setups based on StinkBuddies original designs. They recommend around 400 gph for that size system with that number of spray heads. I think I'm using 395 gph EcoBoost pumps. I've been using aeroponics for a few years, and I would suggest that you don't need to water from the...
If you're looking for a relatively simple DIY aeroponics system, check out Stinkbuddies.com. They have complete plans for all stages of growth made with stuff you can get at Home Depot for the most part. I'm using a few of their systems I built myself at the moment, and the growth is amazing.
I'm not sure how well that would work, there's not a whole lot of filling there. One thing you might try is is to lightly toast the herb to bring it to temp and activate the THC. Just be careful not to overheat it and burn out the good stuff.
Whitewidow45 has it right. There doesn't seem to be any provision in the law for someone to just be a grower without being a registered user and/or caregiver. Also, growing outdoors could be tricky, since the law says the plants have to be in a secured locked area.
I agree with Trunk5. Stinkbuddies has plans and directions for several different sized flowering systems as well as veg and clone systems. I've built a veg and my first flower unit, and bought nearly all the parts for it at Home Depot. The direction are pretty simple and straight forward, and...
A different combo you might want to try is vanilla wafers with Nutella. I started using these and my friends say they like this combo much better than the Ritz cracker ones. I use 1 gram of herb distributed over 8 cookies spread with Nutella, wrap in foil, and bake in the toaster oven @ 300° for...
I harvested the plants in the the DWC, and must say that the problems seem to have much longer term effects than I initially thought. One plant at the back of the unit started to shrivel up for no reason I could discern. It was one of the healthier plants in the unit, and when it first started...
One thing that concerns me is salt. Most roasted nuts are soaked in a brine solution prior to roasting so that they will be salted when done. I know that when I eat a lot of pistachios, I end up with a lot of salt on my fingers from handling mostly just the shells.
If you're thinking about a different reflector, I would definately suggest an Adust-A-Wing. I recently put one in my flowering room, and I like it better than anything else I used before. I'm using it with 1 600w HPS Hortilux bulb on a light mover to illuminate a 4 x 8 area. I planned on...
I've been using a light rail on and off (depending on the number of plants) for over 12 years, and have not had many issues with it. The area I light is roughly 4' wide x 8' long. I originally used it with a 600w Son Agro HPS, which I eventually upgraded to 1000w. I can understand your...
Thanks for the input cough 80, I'll plan on going with the 72 grand total. The variety I grow has a 7-8 week flowering cycle growing in soil, but I'm currently in the process of switching over to aeroponics system wide. I've used an old Jet-Gro Aeroponic cloner for a number of years, and I've...
I have read through the law, and I am not clear whether I would count towards the total number if I am a Caregiver for other people. The law states that a person could be Caregiver to 5 people with a total of 12 plants allowed per person for a grand total of 60 plants. My question is if I am...
