Should I use anything else when doing scrog? Supercropping? Mayber Fim/Topping early in the veg cycle?

So I'm wanting to grow multiple strains, some are short and some are medium height plants. Since I don't want one to shoot off way above the others and force me to move my light farther away I've been thinking if I could use the scrog method to help. Here's my plan. I'm growing in a 4x3'...

A K9 unit. But the cops pretty cool, if he smells weed he won't trip, my neighbors a couple houses down will smoke on the front porch. Also I looked into it and a search warrant is required for the dog to sniff around the house. And if it somehow got out, well that'd be a violation of my rights...
