also want to make sure the temp of the resivour does not get too warm otherwise you will have algae issues. before planting I add a cap of bleach to my res. when I fill it with water. I would do the bleach while no plants are in there and wait at least 24hrs before adding any nutes or plants.

I have built my own hydro unit after my 2nd grow. It is powered by 2- 1000watt lights. hps/MH switchable. i have my ph around 6.0 and started off too strong on the nutes at 360ppm. 3 days ago I drained the resivours and refilled with milder solution of 210ppm. my nute temp is never over 78...

this is my fem OG18. the new growth looks ok but everything is starting to turn yellow. If I don't give her a good life I will never forgive myself. PLEASE help me help her!

This is my first grow with my homemade setup. I thought I had everything right but by the looks of my babies I do not. my temps in the room stay just under 80 for the most part. there have been times my wife will shut the door which has heated things up to 85.
